I'm a film student at USC, and I'm working on a film which has an opening scene which takes place in Salzburg. I'd love to use your photo Salzburg 3 [link] from your stock account.

I had assumed you were a woman but coming to your page I realize it was a wrong assumption.

I'm curious about your beliefs (I hope I don't come off antagonistically, I'm simply interested.) Do you disagree with abortion in all cases? In cases of rape and incest? If the mother's life is in danger?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

rowanseymour In reply to musical-nymph [2006-07-28 09:32:35 +0000 UTC]

I've never met a girl called Rowan...but people often assume it's a girl's name

My stance on abortion is founded on my scientific view that a unborn child is a human being, and so deserves a chance to live, rather than be poisoned or hacked to death. That doesn't change if the mother was raped, and I don't think abortion is the quick fix in that situation that people pretend it is. The rapist should be punished, not the child.

However, I don't think the unborn child has a greater right to life than the mother, so if the mother's life is in danger, then her life gets priority, unless she chooses otherwise.

Those special cases though, are a tiny minority of abortions, so they shouldn't be used as arguments for abortion on demand.

Yeah that is shocking. That was featured in the pro-life journal a few months ago, but you could mention on the group site again. It's hard to see how people can delude themselves that abortion is about women's rights in the face of that awful reality. Thanks for the link!

What does your username means? really?

Coz Rowan Seymour is a 100% arabic name.. My best freind's first name is Rowan & Seymour can be a family name, not very common but it can be..

Rowan is from Ruan in Gaelic which means "red one", and Seymour is from Saint-Maur in French.

What does it mean in Arabic ??

I just received an email from deviantart, you bought me a subscription? That's incredibly selfless of you, thank you. I just returned from a vacation today, my messages were deleted, so I can't answer to any forum posts. Well, it is a noble gesture what you did. You'll be glad to know I spent all of last night reading the Psalms, I don't agree with most of what is said, but I think there's something to learn from every religion, they all provide a glipse of the creator, through the understanding of different cultures. Well, thanks.

Sláinte,
Rodolfo Ruffatti

I realised that arguing with someone isn't the best way to show them what Christianity is about.

Make sure you take a look at the Gospels (John's is my fav) if you want to know more about Christianity specifically.

Hope you had a nice vacation!
