# About me
I am an ASCII and ANSI text artist and co-founder of the "scene" art group Superior Art Creations (SAC). I was active in the computer art scene, demoscene and the warez scene between 1992 and 1998. Roy was my "handle", but I am better known in "the scene" as Roy/SAC, because of my ASCII and ANSI text art work.I was between 1995 and 1997 the sysop of my own bulletin board system called "Closed Society". The BBS had at the end 5 nodes (4x ISDN + 1x 28.8kbit modem) and was running on OS/2 and PCBoard. I have a site dedicated to ANSI and ASCII art at RoySAC.com [2], which also double-functions as SAC homepage since 2007.
I was born in East Berlin/Germany, the ex-communist part of Germany called East Germany or GDR (German Democratic Republic). I was 15 years old and in the 9th grade when the "Berlin Wall fell" on 1989-11-09. I moved to the United States on 2000-05-15 and live now in Fresno/California.

Hey bro you remember me???Β I was/am from the group MOTiV8 and I msg'd you on here a while asking you if you had any old ASCI/ANSII art that SAC did for MOTiV8 back in the day???Β Anyway me & one of the old/original leaders named Virtual are bringing MOTiV8 back as a Demo/Intro/Cracktro/C64/Amiga/PC/ASCI/ASNSII group and we were wondering if you or SAC or any old SAC members would be interested in doing some art work for us.Β We don't really have any $$$ to pay you guys but we could prolly offer you guys a few shell accounts and/or bnc's and shit.Β if you aren't interested thats cool we understand.Β We just thought it would be pretty sweet to have the legend Roy/SAC and/or SAC in general (sorry for the kiss assing but you & SAC are/were legends in the scene back in the day) do some new MOTiV8 art work for us. Hey Roy, are there any NFO / ASCii / ANSI Communities still around, I was a member of an ASCii Forum Connunity a few years back and for the life of me cannot find the name anywhere or google, it started with ascii (maybe a dash afterwards) was my fave but there were a couple, are these still around please mate?

(Working on a Community-based Collaborative Project) & NFOPic.com is our 1st, though slowest (part-timer atm), and GOAL is to be the fastest, easiest to use, user friendly, and also kick azz on our prehistoric competitors, by adding latest in Web Coding, Design & Development (currently no design at all, becides a 5min simple logo, though we are highly tanked on SEO (were for a while, though getting back on track there)... We have Officlal NFO/TXT/DiZ 2 PNG at 31,000+ (add another 19k in our PNG Uploads Folders before adding the mysql counter/name saver/ (for future features also this'll come in major handy)...
we consider ourselves a HIGHLY NiCHED Web Service, though have a LOYAL following, considering we are anunground ALPHA at present, and only SEARCHES on Google and maybe 1-3% from Social Media and Recomendations are about 25-30%.

Roy SAC's ANSi artwork defined the scene in '90s.Β It is the awesomeness that has allowed for so many great NFO files and intros.Β My favorite artist.Β Takes me back to the oldschool.Β Peace out friend

Quick question: What do you use to make your ANSI? I've been stuck with oldschool ASCII for a LONG time, and I'm starting to surface up on new-skool and ANSI stuff...
ASCII art with standard spaces comes out as shit anyways, so...I can't end in style.
