Thanks for your comment on my Blue Bird. It's always a trade off if I had gone for a smaller aperture I might have missed the bird all together or I could have under underexposed. Β You need to get that little bit of light in there eye. Your lonesome is missing that. Β

That's a fair point, if only we could freeze time!
Do you the bird's eye? Good idea, I'll try to do so in the future; it'll be tough with them never being still thoughΒ

some things I do for birds. use a tripod or a monopod fast shutter speed like 1500/1, iso auto , f-5.6 , 300mm lens kit. try and put yourself so the birds are flying into the wind. Use a hill so you are more even with your subject. Hey I learned this on You tube check out Mike Brown. Best and happy birding

The best advise I ever got was to just keep on shooting! Try different settings and mistake could be something very original.

No problem , one thing about deviant art is that noone will see you unless you comment or +fav or +watch or give them a llama, just to make deviant art more worth your while, rather than uploading pics and getting no views .

You have to buy premium membership for that. OR if someone is nice they will critique even if there is no critique button . Hope that helps.

Not sure about them, I don't think I've got much feedback from any of the ones I'm in at the moment. But yea you may if its a very large group I guess.
