Talent is grown with practice. I have some students that have practiced art and others never picking up a brush. We are having a blast.

Thank you. I danced in my early years with the Dallas Metropolitan Ballet Company. Now I own a martial arts school. So movement is a huge part of who I am. I'm always looking for subjects to paint. If you have any dance photos, I would love to have permission to paint them!

WOW! I lived in Austin my whole life until recently, and I used to go see them preform all the time. It was a huge part of my childhood! I'll see if I can get any photos for you, and of COURSE you'd have permission to paint them! I would be honored

That would be great. I see that we both live in Virginia now. I have a series of ballet poses that im looking to do. If you know a dancer who would like to model, let me know.

Of course. I'm a modern dancer so my body isn't conditioned to do some of the ballet poses, but if you need any other ones, I wouldn't mind helping. I've done some modeling for my photography friends, but I've always wanted to do painting modeling.

When I find a dance studio that I fit in with, I'll look around to see which dancers would be interested, if they're ballet. I just moved here from Texas, so most of my dancing friends are there XD. But I'll look around for anyone who's interested.

Ballet is not the only form i would like to paint. So lets talk.
Where in Virginia do you and your husband live? I have a solo art gallery show in Leesburg on thevfirst Friday in August. You should come and meet me then!
I own a martial arts school and I am in the middle of summer camps. Very full days, then i teach at night. I get off most fridays and on the weekends.
