Yes, her name is Paris and she's a brindle boxer. She is 12 years old and the nicest, sookiest pooch. "The dog did it-I swear" picture in your gallery is hilarious by the way, the shading impressive! I noticed throughout your gallery (I always look through all the pages) that your subject matter changes, like you're constantly learning and exploring. I like that!
I'll keep a watch out.

Well, Paris is absolutely beautiful! She looks amazing at 12 years! The Dog Did It - I Swear illustration was fun. I also have an illustration titled "The Cat Did It - I Swear" with a Great Dane on a completely torn up chair. Hee hee! As for my gallery, yeah - the subject matter changes. I did a lot of people at the beginning but they didn't sell too well. I switched to people - but celebrities. Sold a few but then switched to animals and then switched to animals - but pets. That's where I'm at now. I guess that's why I'm so drawn to dogs and cats! I love animals and am happy when I see them in good homes or living in nature undisturbed. The media changes too. I focus on black and white graphite, but there are some colored pencil, pen and ink, dye marker, and even photos. The photos aren't really "art" but photos I took on trips and stuff. I'm so glad you looked through my gallery! I'm thinking of taking down all the art and starting from scratch and post the same art plus some new ones. Hopefully, you'll get to see them!

Black and white graphite is preferred for myself as well. It's fun to venture into other mediums, I just haven't left the paper yet! BUT! Nothing ventured, nothing gained. I will defiantly keep watch of up coming sketches. Managed to get through my list of 1000+ deviations waiting for love, now I feel refreshed. Ah!.

Thank you - I've tried a few different media, but I'm most comfortable with black and white pencil. You'll likely find my shading with colored pencil isn't as strong. I really need to work on that...

Its funny, I'm quite the opposite, I'm better with colours than plain old pencil. But I don't really do the same shading as you, just simple gradient shapes.
I just don't get how people make their shading look like.. Well things. Like faces, and bodies, and clothing, I just never know how to do that.. So I totally admire your skill for that =]

Very good! Yes, I picked that name because I do most of my work on Saturdays. I made it two words (Saba Do) so it wouldn't be obvious what was meant. I'm glad you understood it!

Thanks! There are a lot of different styles in my gallery. A lot of different subjects too. Some are more successful than others, but it's all a learning experience, ya know? Oh - and then I even threw in some photos... WTF?! (Why The Face?!)
