it's better than being what we were born thinking we were going to be. since babies can't think much, we probably didn't think much in that regard.
and that brings me into strange psychological studies. did you know that if you live with your biological parents, they will literally expect you to be just like them when they were your age and will shape you to conform to that? but if you are adopted, your adopted parents will more likely give you more freedom to develop your own personality? since they don't know who you are, so they find it interesting to see what you will become. anyway, that's what convinced me i wasn't adopted.
