Hey, I just recently found you account and I have a slight request. Maybe you could try drawing your ocs by yourself without using bases? I saw some of your original art and it's not as bad as you might think. It's actually quite good. Β I mean, I go to school and stuff like you do and I still have time to draw. My art now may take a few days even though it's not the best. Just because of school. You don't have to post a lot of art per day. Heck, you don't even have to post one drawing per day. I made my account 4 days ago and I just got round to posting my first art piece. I would love to see you improve! I'm so sorry if I sounded rude! You don't have to, but I would really love to see you improve. Just take time on your drawings and practice doing freehand.Β Again, soΒ sorry if I sounded rude! I didn't mean to if I did!

well it's not just that my art is bad it's just i don't have sai on my computer i still need to download it onto my computer then i'll be able to post the pictures i made

Is there any particular reason you use bases? Sorry again if I'm being rude by asking this, I'm just someone who never went through a base phase in art, and I always wonder why people uses them to a point where each picture look extremely different.

well it's because i'm to busy to draw in the day time because i go to school and when i get home i just rather use a base because the art looks better than mine

If you post some of your real art, people can give you references and tips to help and improve. I'm more then happy to go dig up pose references or give a pictures of my pose doll and other tutorials. If you do that for a year you'll start to see improvement and it one of the most rewarding things as an artist. Its also a more respectable thing in the art community to post your own art, no matter how bad it is, compare to coloring over a base. Unless you know how to do base edits extremely well. I'm more than willing to help you improve if you want too. But I can understand if your not ready to do that yet, i know how my first art was embarrassing.

i'm not ready yet and i'm slowly working on getting better with my art,i'm also needing to get sai on my computer because i would use my mom's computer to trace my art that i made on paper

You technical don't need Sai unless you already bought it. There's are good free drawing programs you can uses, just need to get use to them.Β
And you can be amazed at what professional can do with ms paint.

The good thing is, is that DA has a massive amount of tutorial for Sai and free brush downloads. You'll learn in do time.
