# About me

Hello! My name is Sae Lokason, and I am an artist living and working in Northern Colorado. I grew up here, though I was born in California. I attended the Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design and graduated cum laude with a BFA in Illustration in 2011. I am pursuing my MFA in Illustration through the Savannah College of Art and Design via their eLearning program.

I consider myself to be a fantasy and horror artist. I enjoy realism, and I love making believable monsters and interesting characters. You can read a very thorough explanation of what I am doing with my website's "Statement" page.

When I’m not making art, I enjoy watching horror movies, reading fantasy novels and playing video games. I also try and spend some quality time with my fiance and our goofy dog.
