Edd and Matt had gone off for the grocery shop, leaving Tom behind to look after the house with Ringo asleep on the sofa. The house was very quiet and peaceful, until some loud noises fallen into the house and it was seemingly coming from the kitchen. 
Little Maya did not know where she was nor what timeline she was in, but she knew that she'd travelled back into the pasts. She was all panic and scared. She doesn't know what to do as the footsteps came louder and louder. She never had the Mask with her - the Mask was functioned to communicate with people, but she used it for the sake of covering her identity. 
She looked around, finding the nearby plate. She quickly picked it up to shield her face as the other one came in.

Tom had woken up on a sofa. Strange, he did not remember coming back home. All he remembered was dozing off to sleep in the street after drinking a lot at the bar. But on top of that, this place doesn't seemed to be his room, nor a place he'd seen before. But the place was rather pleasant - the sunlight was coming through the sliding doors and birds could be heard chattering on the balcony.

A little orange tabby curled up on his chest, sleeping soundly. The other one he noticed was Tord, sleeping on the other sofa.
