I found this! It is such a funny description of the camera BUT I think it would be a great camera
Item Includes
Lubitel 166+ Camera - Lubikin 35mm conversion kit - Camera Straps - 1 Roll Fujifilm Superia 100 - 6 x 4.5 and Endless Panorama Mask - Instructions
Description
The Lomographic Society International is thrilled to introduce the Lubitel+, a loving recreation of this Soviet-era classic. Based on a design that dates back over 60 years, it's truly a mid-century masterpiece updated with stunning new features, including the ability to shoot BOTH medium format and 35mm film.
Light enough to be your daily companion, powerful enough to yield mind-blowingly sharp & detailed images, and flexible enough to offer limitless creative possibilities, this handsome fella is simply the biggest news for die-hard analogue photographers in a LONG time.
Lubitel+ is for Lovers:
It's something about that plastic body. Something about peering down through that waist-level finder. Sizing up your subject with the top lens and capturing it through crispy glass lens with the bottom. It's simply irresistible to peoplewho love and adore life.
People who are open-minded, enthusiastic, free with their ideas, philanthropic, endlessly curious, always travelling, constantly documenting, and completely awestruck by the enduring power of analog photographs. In other words people like you!
Shooting with the Lubitel+ is different than anything you have shot before. The combination of its glass lenses, the flexible 120 or 35mm format, fully manual everything, fully automatic nothing, peering into a waist-level finder, slowing things down with focusing and dialing in the correct exposure settings, and a myriad of other analog factors make it a full-bodied experience that activates all of your senses and brings you into a special and very intimate place.
Lubitel+ pictures have their very own look and special analog character. They're more "professional" than any 35mm camera, but less professional than a Hasselblad. Of course they are sharp, crispy, artistic, painted with light, and grand.
But they're also occasionally random, sometimes too vibrant, often vignetted at the edges, and totally flexible to your wishes and innovative tinkering. Rather than reflecting the objective reality in front of you, they reflect the subjective reality of the Lomographer behind the camera. They will make you look twice.
Grab a seat, take our hand, and let us introduce you to this passionate twin-lens lothario. $328.99

Well... typical for the Lomographic Society.
Sounds quite good (especially, that you can shoot both 120 and 35mm), but pretty expensive, too.
Do you intend to buy it?

I love the sales pitch: "It's something about that plastic body. Something about peering down through that waist-level finder. Sizing up your subject with the top lens and capturing it through crispy glass lens with the bottom. It's simply irresistible to people who love and adore life." so funny! What is a 'crispy glass lens'?? oh, dear.. can't stop laughing! Love life!! Sorry.. getting carried away.
Well, as you say it is expensive. That is $330 US dollars.. hmm.. quick calculation.. $322 Aussie dollars.. plus freight. And as you say too, great having two film sizes! That is VERY cool! Have you played with a Lubitel 166+?

No, I haven't. Neither know what they mean with "crispy"...
In the end some people really believe in that stuff: "Well, when I walk around with this camera, THE woman will fall in love with me and finally get interested" ;D Haha.
But when I think a bit about it... The Lubitel 166+ seems to work similar to a Hasselblad, and that can't be bad at all. Furthermore the Hasselblad cameras are incredibly expensive, and from that view this is a little bargain.
Have you searched Devianart for the Lubitel 166+? Great photographs!!
(Noo, I cannot fall in love with this camera. I have to save money!)

That's funny! Buy this camera and get the girl of your dreams! LOL I'm sure someone
believes it! Which is even funnier!
Hassleblad! Top of the line over US$40,000! Some great photos made by Lubitel! Very
talented photographers too! I'll put the Lubitel in the bucket list!
I think I need to get more important things like remote control for my speedlight..
or another speedlight more to the point!

Yes, Brian Ferry always said he wanted to show the beauty of simple, everyday moments. I especially love how he captures his times in pubs and cafΓ©s, that always makes you feel like you're sitting there, too, enjoying a drink with good friends. And best of all: he shoots film, of course. β₯
Steve McCurry takes his photographs differently. He travels the world and kind of documents the people and circumstances there. Like that, too.

I think Brian does that very well. The shots of empty bottles and confetti and drinks
are really great. Yeah and they are everyday moments like morning at his place etc. I like!
Yes, and he shoots film too!
Steve's images I like because he's got that eye for a story. There's a depth to his
photos that I can only dream about. I think it's wonderful there are so many good
photographers who are role models for the rest of us.. inspiring

BitteschΓΆn.
