Phew trying to teach photoshop through typing is kind of hard, my best advice is experiment (especially with textures and use different blending options). Textures are one of the best ways to get a great effect quickly and efficiently, I recommend stone, wood or just make your own. Plus there are numerous great tutorials out there as well, on deviantART or simply google it.

Two different elements? If you mean textures you start with a picture then paste another picture (with a good textury feel to it) over it, then double click the layer and change the box that says "normal" to a different setting. Overlay is good for combining two pictures but color burn and multiply can create some nice effects

i do!..i remember that part where Edward says "I was thinking I wanted to try something."..aaahh!!!..love those parts..i'm now, like, almost finished with new moon..but twilight..gawd..i'm madly in love with Edward!..haha..there were parts in the book that made me jump up and start screaming and my rentz would wonder if something was wrong with me again or not..hehe..sorry for the long reply..jst cnt stop gushing over it..btw, love ur fashion fotos..dd u desyn those clothes urself??
