I use Parisma color pencils. When I was 15 my mom bought me a set of 120 for my birthday, i've just been replenishing them since then.

That's what I figured. Man, I need to get me some of those sometime. All I've got are these Roseart pencils. I was told that they're the worst choice I could make, but unfortunatly I wasn't told until after I had bought them, and I'd hate to see them go to waste. But this last picture I made, I was really wishing I had higher quality pencils.

Their actually not that bad of quality. Huskie uses them on alot of her drawings, and look how great those come out? Basically, just keep your pencils (regardless of brand) really sharp, and their'll color well. Also, for shading, don't just press harder with the pencil, use different darker colors for the shadows and vice versa for highlights.

Some people also use complimentary colors for shading, but I don't know much about that since I've always been too afraid to try it.

I'll keep that in mind, though I have been using darker colors for shading. Though it's only a half-step, in that I color the whole thing in one shade and use a darker color over the old color. I think I'm due to actually separate the shadows from the, um, not shadows.

Yeah, that's how it all started out. But when I was looking through DA's writing delineations, it said that it was for anything that didn't use normal spacing, which I didn't think it really did, so it got put in the poetry section.
