Ehh, I got bored of it honestly xD I've finished the book, made a ton of potions that take ages to make and the wizard dueling is down, and comments aren't all that fun when they're scattered everywhere and often missed.. if there were owlpost systems for private messages or profile comments THEN I'd still be logging in every day, but for now I'm just going to wait for wizard's duel xD Or Chamber of Secrets. Whichever happens first.

That sounds complicated! I'm depressed because of my House. It would have been so much funner there if I got Gryffindor! Though, I guess Hufflepuff would be second best. But Gryffindor's by far my favourite.

My wand is ash, Phoenix feather core, 11 inched, and slightly yeilding! I did NOT expect Phoenix feather, I expected Unicorn hair. Though I happy with my wand, because Pottermore knew what it was doing.

It won't be too complicated. xD I'll just choose which wand I like best, 'cause I can deal with any House and now I know my true House is Gryffindor.
Sucks you got the House you didn't want though D: But, I can see why it gave you that personally. But maybe that's just me because I tend to analyze people and predict which House they get. I've predicted five of my friends correctly in a row, plus two others xD

That's an awesome wand though. Phoenix Feather is nice. And Ash is a great wood. Means you've got a loyal, powerful wand :3 The fact that it's slightly yielding would mean it'll obey you better than an unyielding wand would, too. xD

My wand is Cedar wood with Unicorn Hair, 12 inches, and unbending. I have a stubborn wand because of its unbending trait. Which fits, because I'm stubborn myself xD It also apparently likes to match itself with those who have unusual loyalty, which fits me well too~ Also, what I said about analyzing people a moment ago? That can fall under the perception thing that my wand wood's description mentions xD So that fits too <3
And the Unicorn Hair? Hell yes. It totally fits me and I always imagined myself with a Unicorn core xD So I'm happy with this wand too <3

I don't mind your "rambling", because it's my favourite subject and it's fascinating to learn other people's wands and what they think their wands mean! Tell me more about wands, please!

I still don't know why I got Phoenix...I just totally pictured myself with Unicorn core ever since I got into this whole thing! Honestly, I'm the least brave person EVER....same with ash; it says it's for courageous witches and wizards.

I love your wand! It sort of, to me, has sort of a wildness to it. A free-will, that doesn't like to be bossed around and what to be it's own self...I'm probably just loony here, but let me know if that's accurate!

Phoenix Feather, though?
Says they're independent, and they show initiative and are very picky with the owner the choose. They excel in Defense Against the Dark Arts magic most from what I've noticed and according to other reliable sources. Plus, you've always pictured yourself as a Gryffindor before Hufflepuff, right? If you wanted Gryffindor then maybe you have some form of initiative-like standards that would attract a Phoenix Feather core to you?
Also depending on which quality trait you told Ollivander you prize most out of the five choices, that'd give the answer away too.

It does have wildness to it, doesn't it? I never looked at it that way actually, and that does make it feel more fitting and accurate. I definitely don't like being bossed around or told what to be and I like to be myself xD

I guess that may make sense. And I told that I most prize the abilliy of kindness. I was deciding between that and originality.
I also thought, since I had green eyes, that may give me Unicorn hair...because I think it sort of fits that colour for some reason.
I understand what "slightly yeilding" may mean, because I do not do well under peer pressure, out of fright of making someone angry with me I just go with what they want me to do.

Yay! See? I'm not totally clueless. I also think the wand of yours carries a sort of determination...again, just a guess here!

kindness? huh, for some reason i didn't expect that when you said you got the phoenix feather. and i forget what wood you got though honestly so i can't make a connection with that part D:
although i can kind of see kindness working for phoenix feather, considering harry's wand...but at the same time it's confusing, because of voldemort's wand.

as for the color thing, i don't think they take that into account.. xD considering wands can't really...see. they just feel. i could see how unicorn would fit you in some ways, but i'm also beginning to see why phoenix feather chose you instead.

slightly yielding sounds fitting in that case. xD the wand test seems really accurate.

determination is what i told ollivander i prized most, so that's a right guess. xD

short-tempered though? mrs. weasley was short-tempered but i don't think she had a phoenix feather. according to this section of an article, it sounds as if she had a unicorn core: [link] because unicorn cores could go with a wide variety of magic and they're good cores for healing magic.

short-tempered probably isn't a trait that the unicorn core is normally attracted to though, i'd agree on that much. xD

Oh, I'm not short-tempered anymore. My dad is though. O_O And sister. Though I don tend to occasionaly turn on the caps lock amd yell at someone if their mean to on of my friends.

I wanted Unicorn hair, but I'm glad I didn't get unicorn paired with ash; because that would be the same wand as Cedric Diggory. Don't ask why, cause I don't know, but that would bug me a bit if I got the same wand.
