Sorry for the late response - we have been on the road to Spain...
Just in case you didn't solve the crossword clue introducing the Hawaiian Goose it's also the Nene (pronounced Nay-nay for the bird and rhyming with either 'hen' or 'seen' depending where you live for the river part of the clue)

Ooh, #1 and #2 are just right for my taste, and very unique... can I claim them? The other two might be a little too similar to a couple unfinished acrylics of mine; I'm happy to wait for new ones, though, if you feel like creating a few more and letting me choose ;) (Wink)

you mean 1 and 2 of the trio? that would be fine.

i made a new quartet for you, in case you want them. they're not really what you asked for, i started out bright and cheery but it got kind of muted. they look different colors but they're all pulled for a small number of colors i chose for it. sta.sh/2916w5hpodn?edit=1

you can choose between the trio and that second quartet. :) (Smile)

ahh well that whole quartet is taken (the first ones i made)
the trio is available, but i'm not going to break it up.

the quartet i just showed you is available, but i probably would like to give those as a set.
i'm afraid you can't choose some from one and some from another.

Hmm, I feel like the quartet might be stronger broken up into two sets (1+2+the streaky less-orange one+something else), or (1+2+ something else) and (3+4+ something else). i really, really, like #1 & #2 out of this round of paintings, if you couldn't tell!

you especially like which one and two? can you give me links? at this point i'm clueless. :? (Confused)

I'm sorry to have completely confused you... I've been referring to the second, non-taken, reddish-toned set of 4 that you posted in your stash. Of which I'm in love with two, and the other two happen to coincidentally resemble a couple unfinished acrylic paintings of mine... which means I was kinda hoping for something a little different to display than #3 or #4 :) (Smile) I understand not wanting to break things up! Again, I'm patient, and you still have first dibs on 'Texures' -- whenever we get around to trading!

I think I was just giving an honest opinion/critique of the set, because I love your stuff... something as vibrant as your recent 'wine' painting (but in more compatible tones) paired with #1 & #2 of the above-mentioned quartet would really make a stunning trio. Of course, those are just my tastes ;) (Wink)

i see, i was totally confused, probably because i'm kinda tired. how about this, i'll give you 1 and 2 of the redish second quartet. i can see why you want those, they aren't a very well matched collection.

i was kind of thinking that giving away four at once is too much, i spent a pretty long time on those.
would you be ok with trading your painting for the two you like the most?
