also i've been thinking of opening my own commissions (because i have 67 points LOL) but i have yet to find a style that i can draw quickly in, because im pretty sure i'll piss people off if i take 3 months to do a commission LOL 
idk maybe it'll be different with fullbody/bust/headshot with no backgrounds because i can see those taking a shorter amount of time than my usual art

ohh you converted the canadian dollar price to points 
i dislike how in actuality $1 USD equates to 80 points and not 100 points,,, and since dA works in USD, it's wayy different for other currencies so the value of the points to real money ends up being very different,, but i guess dA has to make money too b/c they have staff and their ads arent enough since people just use adblock LOL

i guess so but then i could take 3 months to draw something on ms paint (i suck on ms paint) and be like "$60 please because each month is $20" LOL

oMG same, that's why almost everything i drew for my art class last year was either shit, or it took forever for me to finish because i wanted it 'perfect'/
well i saw a character for sale ( sta.sh/01z8kev31gy8 ) and it looks kinda demonic but i think it'd make cute scenes like in the forest or in the city like this tiny little hooded creature surrounded by something larger than it could imagine/comprehend
but im cheap and didnt want to buy that character so i was gonna make something similar

oo you'd have to put tick-marks halfway up the box on the sides to do each letter to make sure that they all connect in the same spot

i was just checking out the oekaki boards and i laughed at the jump from the beginner to advanced boards lmao  like not to be mean about other people's art but all the 'ms paint quality' art is on the beginner board LOL. and advanced and intermediate are almost the same quality

i set a goal for drawling last night to just draw turb and not care about making it the best thing i could possibly draw ever and i made more progress in an hour than on any drawings for a long time
but then it was 10 and i had to go to bed but i still ended up staying up till 12 looking at twitter oop s

omg yes and with its head cocked to the side a little bit 
those kinda scenes remind me of this game called unravel,, omg it was such a cute game. idk if you know that game but you play as a character named yarny (it's like a cat but it walks on two legs and is made outta red yarn), and as this tiny little unimaginable thing of yarn goes around these gigantic environments that it probably can't comprehend. look up screenshots and soundtracks of the game. a thing that really interests me about the game is that yarny was an actual thing that the developer made several years before making the game and the character has been with them their entire life. and they have a tutorial on how to make your own yarny which i think is super cool instead of just having game merch, so people can connect more with the one they make. 

beginner board consists of: crap art and really good art that artists are shy about and say they're a beginner when in reality their art is really good
advanced: all really good art
intermediate: art that is 'so good' that it isn't even art because it isn't ever finished 

ohh btw what are your thoughts on science? the reason i ask is because there was a 'march for science' on saturday and it was a movement to get people excited about science and to explain to people why science needs to be funded (mainly a movement against trup b/c he said he didnt believe in funding scientists). i watched half of the livestream (it seems the official website has deleted the livestream, but it can be found on wtop.com/local/2017/04/1355717… ) and i thought it was interesting

i mostly go to bed at 10 but i'm always like "should i actually work on homework right now?" and i say nahh, i'll do it in the morning (cuz i wake up hella early anyway) but i never get out of bed in time even though im awake lol

it is really good, it made me cry (but then again as i've always said, almost every game that has some sort of story makes me cry LOL so thats not much to go off of) but it was just super cute-sy and i related to some of the themes in the game like growing up and enjoying nature with your family and loving little things in the forest or stuff like that, and the ending was cute/happy but kinda sad at the same time 
ooo speaking of video games, outlast 2 just came out and it's sO good. it's freakier than the first outlast and it's doing a few things differently than the first one to make it not repetitive 

i love science (mainly biology and a bit of chemistry). i want a career with something to do with biology and chemistry so i'm taking science courses now. which kinda sucks at the same time because with canada's school system, you basically have to know what career you want to do by grade 9 or 10, especially with the program that im in because you aren't allowed to choose your own courses in grades 11 and 12. so beforehand, i have to make sure that i get science credits that i need to go into college/university programs. it's not too bad tho, and i thing and hope it'll be worth it in the long run
also i think it was that trump didn't believe scientists and didnt believe in funding them which i dont understand at all. like even a speaker that he speaks into on a podium is made by science,,, ugh
