My name is Harley. My last name is not Davidson, but you're hilarious. I read a lot of books and I like good grammar and spelling, probably as a cause of the former. I'm applying to do fashion design at a couple of universities in London which I am about as terrified of being accepted into as I am being rejected from: I am essentially a paradox with annoyingly long limbs.# Comments

hey thanks for the favourite, i love lomography, although i havent actually produced any of my holga pictures on deviant art as of yet, all the ones up are my attempts of re-creating the look.

yeah, i thought they would be alright but the place didn't develop them for me! had to pay a few pounds for the negatives, just. pretty gutted, but i'm currently bidding on some 140 rolls of medium format film on ebay, so if i win at least i'll be able to practice! xx

urghhh some people MAJORLY outbid me so i'm on to 2 other bulk sets of partially-expired film now. i need something cheap 'cause i'm starting a college course in september and need supplies for that. and yeah, i'm keeping the negatives: can't part with them! i actually found out what i did: i had the 6x6 frame in, but had the camera set for the 6x4.5... i'm silly. the only place in my city that seems to sell medium format film is currently out of it, and with no computer to order more. ): xxx

yeah partially expired film is suppost to make the photos quite interesting i think...

i live in glasgow: it's not the biggest city, admittedly, but i was surprised that hardly anywhere does it, especially considering the fact that we have the art school (glasgow school of art: you'll have heard of it maybe?). it's all 35mm processing. whereabouts do you live?
the negatives look decent enough: i can see where they've overlapped a little but there are a few pictures of me and my friends that i would've liked to have. i might get one of those negative scanners or something eventually, and then i can just pay for negatives rather than actual prints. xxx

i wouldn't imagine that just because you have one art school that you would have loads of shops that sell medium format film though...
i live in Melbourne, well about 40 minutes away anyway.
i think you should try and get them printed, they sound quite interesting. a photo scanner could be a good idea though if you cant find somewhere to do it...

glasgow school of art is pretty famous, so i figured it'd have been at least easier to find. i might go back and ask them to try and print them: they said something about the machine not being able to find the photo edge. melbourne must be all sunny (: i'm jealous! xxx

yes i would have to say you have seen more rain than me, maybe i should move up to Scotland? haha i reckon thats what i should do- we are in a drought here, in the middle of winter we have water restrictions.
