# About me
Founder of the silver lantern corps our entity from which we draw our power is yet unknown to us, even me. We are the protectors of what's fair, right and just; to be given our ring you must be pure of all negative emotions we are the exact opposite of the black, red, yellow and orange. The orange lanterns always tend to take what's not theirs and so they hurt others for their personal gain, they are ours sworn rivals. We protect those that have suffered because of them and many more; always giving the emotion by what we stand for: Charity.If you are chosen and be given our ring you will know and stand for the following oath:
" In the scorching day, In the freezing night,
All emotions will burn bright,
Let those who try to take what's fair and right,
Feel the power...That is SILVER'S LIGHT!"
About me: Founder of the recently created silver lantern corps and known as the first silver lantern. Im an earthling that on a faithful day while protecting some friends from the local wildlife on a hiking trip i fell on a cave where i found a weird silvery glowing round structure where at the center there was an energy flowing spiral. As i got to my feet in agony by the fall i made way to it slowly and when i was close enough inside i could make out a very bright glowing silver ring. Weary and carefully i extended my right arm to it and as soon as i got close to it suddenly it flew to my right hand and placed itself on the middle finger. I felt a jolt in my whole body then i began to glow bright silver and in a flash all my clothes were replaced by a black and silver kind of uniform... to be continue?
Note: The silver lantern corps and the followings in this text are my creation. If by any chance anybody else have come up with this idea if you wish contact me so we can exchange ideas. I will try to draw the symbol soon for your viewing pleasure ;)

Well, Silver lantern, I can see that your begining is pretty good. But continue on. What do you do now? How do you escape from that cave? And who is for the black Corps anyways, who isn't dead?

Thanks i might continue if i get more request for it. I actually just got carried away when writting that and made it up as i wrote lolz and thanks a lot for commenting your thoughts but can you also let me know what you think about the silver lantern oath and emotion plz?
And about the black lanterns all members are dead bodies reanimated by the black rings although if a black lantern bites a living being the bite will kill it in a matter of time and when it dies it becomes yet another member of the BL's and finally the leader of the BL's if not mistaken is truly alive his name is: black hand.

Ah,The emotion is pretty darn good for Silver. Though Charity as an emotion is an oddity to me, but what can I say, I'm more of a fan of Greed. The oath really does fit the bill as well, And I just wonder, does that mean that your silver ring won't affect any Orange/Red/Black things, or can it still work on them? And I knew every Black lantern was dead, but I never knew that was how they went and gained people. I also had no idea the leader of the group was a hyprocite, being alive while being a Black lantern.

Lolz black hand is the embodiment of death so yeah and yes basically the silver power rings work on them just fine the user can create silver hard light constructs like green lanterns but instead of will is charity obviously. thank you so much for your replies if you got anymore questions about the any lantern corps feel free to ask.

I saw it yes, well im a bit more faithful to the comics giving the corps an entity which embodies the emotion they stand for and an oath which must be chanted everytime they charge their power rings.
