# About me
News August 2014:From about 2006 to 2009ish, I ran the website Project: JRock Events (USA). During that time, I took several photographs of JRock artists for the website. However, since the website is now defunct, I have decided to post some of those photos on here. I photographed these artists myself at various events I attended as press, and have permission to show the photos. However, I do not have permission to sell them, and therefore I cannot offer them as prints.
I love tea, books, music, and visual art. All together, if possible! Blue is my favorite color, and you'll be sure to see lots of it in my shop!
It started with a broken ankle.
I had been out of work for two months because I broke my ankle....and I was broke financially. My mother's birthday was coming up and I had no clue what to get her, let alone what I could afford. It was October, starting to get cold, and it hit me.
I started knitting. And knitting. I got back on my feet (literally and figuratively) and I learned lots of new knitting techniques.
And I drank a lot of tea. So much tea, that I started running out of homes for it all, and the tins at Teavana were so expensive. But hey, if I can knit a sweater, who's to say I couldn't decorate my own tea tins at a fraction of the price? And so began my tin decorating.
I'm always looking to try new things, too. I've done a bit of beaded jewelry, and I'd love to try some wrapped wire jewelry in the future. Who knows what else I might delve into?

Meh...the Mexicans are overrunning Janesville. You can't work in the public anywhere without having to deal with really thick accents. *shrug* Whatever, as long as they don't get all ghetto on me.
But good for you! Learning multiple languages is awesome. If I hadn't had such a bad experience with my Spanish teacher, I'd probably still be taking Spanish. Well, I'm sure I'll be learning a couple more languages by the time I get to college. Meanwhile, I'll continue with my French.
