Nah im not straight edge mate but i listen to the music. It basically means respect yourself as in dont intoxicate yourself with drugs etc, and then respect your friends and family. The second bit means that they dont care what anyone thinks about them and that they know who they are and dont need to be judged, and they arent some poserish band, they're stating a point and not trying to start some fashion trend.

well i usually play around with the levels and curves then add a colour balance ontop to bring out certain colours to make the piece appealing
