Hahaha, kind of an ex-fan. I pretty much dropped out of the fandom. All of my favorite characters got killed off. :/ The anime is really terrible, and the manga isn't far behind in lack of thought these days.
I'm not even entirely devoted to one fandom right now. It's kind of a weird place to be... I don't really know what to do with my thoughts, hahaha. I've been getting into Marvel comics, though. Particularly Deadpool.

Ahhh, Homestuck. I've been considering reading the whole thing again, since updates have been few and far between and I've forgotten a lot of the intricacies of the plot. My favorite troll is Karkat and my favorite human is Dave.

Hm, that reminds me, I still need to finish Fables. Are you familiar with that series? It's sort of like Into the Woods meets Shrek as written by Alan Moore. I'd like to get into Deadpool some day...

Oh, you're actually familiar with it? Yeah, give it another read, things make more sense the second time around. The end of Act Five is right around the bend, the author is fifty percent done with the flash at this moment. Should take another week or so before we move on to Act Six.

Karkat is pretty adorable like a terribly angry kitten, and Dave is awesome in every way. Some days I fear that he verges on Gary Stu territory, but then I remember the kind of person Andrew Hussie is, and my fears are consoled.

I've never heard of Fables-- is it a webcomic or a physical, on paper one, or am I way off base here? It sounds interesting, either way.

Deadpool is awesome. He has almost the exact same interests that I do: Taco Bell, duct tape, and TV. Kind of underrated for as well known as he is, though.

Oh, I went through quite a Homestuck phase. I read the whole thing in like two solid days, hahahah. It's the only thing ongoing that I actually check for updates on. I'm not as into it as I once was because none of my friends were interested.
Ahhh, it should be rad! The animations between acts are always so epic.

I basically just love characters that can make me laugh. Karkat and Dave do so on a regular basis. I'm definitely going to reread the comic now, hahaha.

Aw, none of your friends were interested? I had a friend introduce me to it through Gamzee: Regard Double Rainbow, but she isn't as much into it as I am any more. I made new friends through the Homestuck board on iScribble, though, and the Tv Tropes discussion thread, and on Tumblr everyone is buddy-buddy.

Yeah, most of my friends have non-internet hobbies, hahaha. That seems weirder to me than spending a ton of time online.
I found out about it through the internet grapevine. I started seeing artwork of the trolls, and I was like, "What is this? I must know the source!" Once I read it, I was so excited about it, but I had no one to share it with. It was kid of a bummer, really.

Mmhmm. Finding a community to share it with is important. Since I have no life and spend all my time on the computer, I already had a place to go when I'd finished the series.

You might like to check out the iScribble website. You can draw on a canvas along with other people. Granted, most of the people are kids who aren't quite sure what they're doing, but you get an actual artist once in a while to doodle along with, and the Homestuck board is quite popular.

Mmhmm. The hard thing about teaching yourself to draw is that you don't have any structure for working. I've been falling behind on my skills as of late since I didn't have more reasons to draw, and now I just sort of flip through my old sketch books and wonder why I can't do it anymore. I'm really looking forward to getting that fluidity back.

Yeah, animation is pretty intense. You've got to be really quick with drawing things so that you've got a flow going. Er, I think.

I need more practice myself, a lot of my animated music videos are just people moving across the screen to the music, lol. Most of animating is having an idea of what you want it to look like and knowing how to use the tools.

... I suppose that's true for all artwork, isn't it... Huh.

I don't think Zeke has skype, and he hasn't been on the board lately. Anyway, my part's done for now. I've tried to get this to move faster, but it's just gonna go on its own pace. All I have to do is keep on practicing singing and hope that I don't sound too horrible when it's time for mixing.

I've got a couple of characters with wings, and while I am BOSS at bat wings, I really didn't know how bird wings work. I get the idea that they're very similar, but whenever I try it, it always looks weird! Thank you so much for separating all the different feather segments-do you know how helpful that is? Sorry to say that the story I'm going for isn't realistic enough for me to give the relevant characters pigeon chests and leg rudders, but those are really interesting ideas!
