Not in the dictionary definition of the word if that's what you mean. It's an understanding between me and her. My Bio mom died when i was 7 months old, so I never had a mother figure growing up. Ryu inspires me and encourages me to be myself and do my best. She fits the bill so well and she loves the idea of having me as a daughter. In our terms its an adoptive relationship. Sorry if that was a bit of a mouth full.
