hi,
i guess it's fine if you're not making money out of it but most of my sci-fi pieces are commercial and already belong to a certain universe ( and studios ) so it's kinda weird to re-purpose them..

No i'm not making any money off it, it's purely for astetic purposes of my stories. It doesn't matter if it's from something or not, so long as it gives people the right idea. My watchers tend to know what to expect. Besides, people take CHARACTERS owned by companies, and use them in so many strange ways it's not even funny. Compared to that, I highly doubt they'll care for a picture being used to enhance a story that has nothing to do with it's universe. ... But then again, what do I know about art?

hi, tnx,
i use 3ds max and zbrush for organic models. i'm afraid for 3dsmax' future, its a great great program but it's not well taken care of lately.. you may try Modo or Cinema4d too. those are all great programs now so you can't really go wrong :) (Smile)
