I just wanted to say I love your work. Your later interior design explorations are all very professional level. The thing that grabs me most is that even though they are highly conceptual they still seem almost practical enough to put into production. I'm guessing since you're in Detroit you go to CCS?

I really love that you're branching out into environment concepts, but one thing that's been bugging me is that you put no emphasis on the foreground in your sketches.

Good observation, but that's very much intentional at the moment. Most of my environment concepts consist of a sprawling vista. I'm trying to create the impression of an immense sense of space, as if you're looking out a window. Sure the window is in the foreground, but are you really paying any attention to the frame of the window or the glass itself? Different subject matter calls for different focal points. With most of the environment stuff I'm doing right now, the middleground holds the most weight, then the background, then foreground. "Action shots" typically put the most weight in the foreground, but I haven't really gotten to those yet. If you pay close attention, you'll see that films employ the same logic. They'll intentionally blur out the foreground.

Thanks, but it's not their fault actually. There was a timing issue and I wasn't able to provide them with the descriptions for my projects. I'm surprised they did as well as they did even.
