yay, and as long asyou keep putting amazing things up i never will, although i do keep dissapearing when i forget my password, or when college starts again but in that case i always comment on all the new deviations no matter how long it takes, but i always loom forward to new stuff of yours too

actually I was getting at the point that art is coherent with the artists own interpretation e.g. Picasso you wouldn’t get someone re-drawing his art and saying no that’s how its supposed to be would you? so why do it here, you cant tell someone how they should draw and what is better each person has their own personal tastes in art just like with music. if any thing is horrific it has to be how immature and pathetic you are, seriously go sort yourself out!

actualy it started because laura and her friend decided to gang up on one of my friends so congrats to them for insulting a 14 year old girl
I dont realy wish to start an argument with some one i dont know but is it any of your business.
Tbh i dont realy care about all the manga stuff and i dont want to research it i just cant see how people can leave bad coments on other peoples work when their work is very similar to alot of other peoples work, and what bad name does DVA have and how have i gived it this name by mearly having an argument with some one?

by ranting about how unoriginal my work is, do you realise how unoriginal YOU are being?

i have had this, and laura has had this, hell, probably MOST users have had this complaint at some point. you obviously have no idea what you are talking about. i'm not just saying that to get a rise out of you, really, you obviously don't know ANYTHING of the origins of the manga/ anime style.

before you make a comment, such as the one you sent to me, it would be a good idea to research what you are talking about. it would help in not making you come off as stupid looking as you sound.

indeed, the manga style started in japan, but it was heavily influenced by western art. japans trade with western countries, such as america, caused the japanese to undergo an art style change in an attempt to adopt outside influences into their own culture. i'd say it worked pretty well. actually, japan incorporated many western practices during this time, like its government and education systems. though a little off topic, it just goes to show how western japan is. ever heard of the term 'wasei eigo'? japanized english. japan is becoming more and more under the influence of western culture, a sad truth actually... japan may not stay japanese for much longer.

that was a total lecture, i know, but i just wanted to show you that the manga style we know and love does not come from 'a completely different origin'.

as for your comment about anime supposedly being all the same, have you actually looked at the work of other manga artists? try aoyama gosho, clamp and peach-pitt. they are NOT the same. sure they are all manga style (the term manga being the word for comic- an american concept) but the hair, eyes, body proportions, clothing styles... utterly different. i also suggest you actually looked at the different styles of manga are. there are as many as there are styles of 'realistic'. to say that manga is unoriginal is to say realistic isn't as well. if that is your way of thinking, then i suppose its true- people have been drawing realisticly for thousands of years- not just for the few decades manga has been about for.

please, think about what you are saying.

and about laura and iggy. Laura is my friend, yes, and that is how i found iggys page. but i follow no ones lead. i simply didn't like her work, so i said so. it's as easy as that. though i can't see why it got so out of control- a comment board is for just that, commenting. its to say what you want, not just blindly stating how awesome a piece of art is just because it was a friend who made it. it then just becomes a praise page for an undeserved (perhaps) piece of work.

again, i ask you to think about what you are talking about. To call anyone stupid and/or unoriginal (as you have) when the person in question has no idea of the subject (just as you don't) is... forgive me the pun, but it IS unoriginal and incredibly stupid.

please don't bother to reply that this is also unoriginal, stupid and shows i have no personality. by writing this i have clearly shown that i do in fact, have a personality. also, you would be proving me right.

So you're telling me that Laura had nothing to do with you commenting on iggys work, you honestly expect me to believe that? Western cultures as you have said might have influenced the running of the country but I highly doubt it affected the drawing style. And those artists that you mentioned are probably the very few that developed anime and manga into their own style.

ahhh... i did say i followed no one, but, that dosn't mean i can't stick up for my friends, plus i didn't like Her art work any way.

Like i said, research the artists and you will find out that they are HUGE and a few of the many mangaka who have a very distinctive style.

And of course western countries influenced manga, that is why it is comic book style.
