You're very welcome! Your art is FANTASTIC!!!!
Yes, I have a few pieces in EVP.....
-Crimson Wings
-Midnight Masquerade
-Lady of the Forest
-Aurora
I'm pretty happy with my Crimson Wings piece, but the other three came out looking like paintings I would have done a few years ago The fairies are stiff-looking and have no real facial expression. I just need more practice, I guess. I don't paint regularly and I'm sure that's part of my problem but as I'm sure you know, painting is very time-consuming. I don't often organize my day well enough to allow for painting. LOL, another thing I need more practice on!

usually when I had no time to paint and draw on the night ... the night has always been inspiring for me, however I think However I think you're at a good level and seeing the progress in the latest paintings, in fact the last "silent siren" is really really good. I see passion in your works and I think you'll do better if you want

Thank you for your kind words I was really pleased with Silent Siren and enjoyed painting it, which may also have something to do with the outcome. I think some of the other paintings that didn't turn out so well were done with less enthusiasm or joy. This is my latest painting.....another one that I thoroughly enjoyed doing. [link]
I can't take the credit for the composition, though. It's acutally done by a photographer I found here on DA. I saw this in photo form and fell in love with it - felt compelled to paint it.
It's nice getting to know you, Rossana, and I appreciate your encouragement Your work is very beautiful and inspiring and makes me want to be a better painter.
Thank you!

That's great Sarah! Welcome back! OMG this site has SOOOOO many good references!!! You just have to poke around. There's tons of stuff - great poses, anatomy, clothing, backgrounds/landscapes, etc.... If there's anything you're trying to improve on, this is definitely the place to find the references for it. The ~D-is-for-Duck one has tons of hands to use - even hands holding knives and other objects. They also have a lot of other stuff, too. If you have time, you should really explore the site and get to know it. Put lots of people in your +DeviantWatch list when you come across a rich source.
Catch you later,
Laura
