I guess I don't really have a particular reason for being gone so long. Just lots of things going on in life and a lot of stress :/ that's just normal for everyone though so I don't have much of an excuse. I'm just glad to be back and I've got myself together now

Well, I went on a marine biology field trip to the outer banks of North Carolina and that was awesome. I got to see and learn a lot of neat stuff! I also shadowed two veterinarians this summer, showed goats at the county fair, and I became a certified scuba diver!!

But that's super cool, how do you become a "certified" scuba diver and what does that allow you to do then?

Haha yes! I absolutely love marine life and biology! I have three fish tanks at home that I am obsessed with 
You have to take scuba diving classes to become certified and this card is your permanent scuba diving permit!
It allows you to dive in different locations around the world and also a lot of marine biology jobs and internships require scuba certifications
