Hm, I've never gotten asked about how I got started in art. Y'know, it's kinda funny. I've been doing art for as long as I can remember (and I mean that literally). The first thing I can remember was back when I was a REALLY little kid. I recall going to my great grandmother's house and drawing Grandfather Clocks. The next art thing I can remember is drawing a crappy comic about one dude who was always happy his brother who was always angry. And then of course I started my own actual comic called "Weird World" that featured me and my friends.

Those are the very oldest things I can remember drawing besides Sonic the Hedgehog. So I guess that's it.

We all start drawing at different points in our lives. As for me I was your average child, drawing little doodles and what not. But I took a long pause in art for like... 4 years and I wouldn't draw much unless it was for school. Now that I'm getting back into art I'm way back at where I started. Tracing and copying. So naturally I'm looking for tutorials. But like I said we all start and stop at different times so you most likely kept drawing and kept getting good at it. You may have used some tutorials along your way but none that you can remember, and that's all good, at least your art style is original ( ^ ^ )b

Actually I did use lots of tutorials when I was younger. I had (and still have) several tutorial books including a How To Draw Manga book and a cartooning book. Those are where I got my current style from, actually. Y'know, I think I'm gonna start doing those Weird World comics again, considering how good I'm getting at this stuff. Hm...
