And my other friend seems to have a really good spot in another group. I think she got it from tumblr. But other than that, still searching otherwise. My parents want me to be a doctor. So..trying to keep up a good GPA.

GPA is absolutely important. I considered skipping college early in 2009 when I'd won AX Idol, so I could stay in the area, but I am SO GLAD I stayed at home and finished my degree first. Do it now, while most of the cost (I assume) isn't entirely on you.

It's actually a bit of a slow period right now - QA testing has picked up (I FINALLY finished with one project this week, but am getting dumped right back into a new one starting next week), but once MAGI and Dangan Ronpa die down I don't have anything particularly big down the pipeline yet, so March and April will be pretty calm. I'm hopeful on a few auditions I sent out that were pretty solid, but they teach you real fast in this industry to "record it and forget it" to save your sanity, because of how often you'll be rejected.

That downtime should give me ample opportunity to get back to actually playing games on my own time, though - I'm eyeing Persona 4 Golden now that I snagged it during the Atlus sale, but I still need a VITA (and tbh I want the original OLED screen more than this new LED bundle they're offering in spring).

I sincerely apologize that you ended up involved in it in any way. The best suggestion I can offer is to simply explain/answer only when you feel comfortable/willing to do so, and ignore attempts to harass or belittle you as a result of your efforts. The information is out there; people who care to look for it will find it. The most guaranteed way to keep the entire fiasco alive is to keep responding to attempts to rekindle it.

I won't comment on that development, because in the best case scenario it would just look like more harassment, and in the worse case it would only provide more ammo. I am sorry that you're dealing with that.  Just recognize that you did what you felt was right and that as long as you're not insulting or threatening anyone else in the process, you have nothing to feel guilty about.

Sort of a less-complex Etrian Odyssey, but I've been playing it for 4 weeks and I STILL want it when it releases for real, so 1st-time players are pretty much going to enjoy themselves silly if you like that kind of genre.

For MY job, literally playing/testing the games and anime that I'm assigned, checking for text errors, system crashes, bugs in the graphics or game mechanics. Etc.

That's a pretty liberal description to give it. I have the potential to CAUSE edits to the game, if I'm able to describe why a particular mechanic or something related is not working or broken, but that's a very very rare occurrence. I mostly test to make sure that A) The game works/plays as intended, B) Spelling/grammar errors are caught, and C) All features meant to be included operate like they're supposed to and are accessible.
