World Building 110 Rules For AmicitiaSince as Nightmare Eclipse, Twilight Sparkle brought so many worlds to a bad end, as Amicitia, she's chosen to bring about many happy endings in grim dark worlds as possible. She did MUCH MORE work than we ever saw.
However, there are rules to Amicitia's abilities, since the Blank Wolf is created to deal with outsiders and inserts who try to twist a world to that outside's whims, and Amicitia is no exception.
First and foremost, Amicitia can NOT override someone else and control their actions like a puppet. After what she did to Discord for so long, this is IMPOSSIBLE for her to do even if she WANTED TO! Β
So she takes the role of a pony's conscience in story or their voice of reason, or their inner strength, as she did with Big Mac in Sweet Apple Acre's Massacre verse. She brought Big Mac back to his senses.
Since vast majority of Grim Dark fic rely on the ponies acting out of character, (Rainbow Factory, Cupcakes, Massacre), this normally proves very effective. Because a pony's

Was watching Equestria Girls, and by dumb luck I did a freeze frame on the scene where the students are being de-brainwashed from Sunset's magic. And the freeze frame contains the CMC (REMEMBER?! They were there too!). And the Celestia and Luna! Given Sunset could turn Snips and Snails into demons like her effortlessly, it's a safe bet what she INTENDED to do.Β A BIG reminder of WHO Twilight saved, and WHAT she saved them from!!
