No fears! I believe its T.S. Elliot... and it's just a publication thing. I just like how it makes such a deep statement that somehow (for me, at least) remains so optimistic. I believe it's the last bit from a longer treatment, but my references are out of pocket... ;) (Wink) - ;)

Just mentioned this to my literary son and he says quite matter-of-factly, "Oh, yeah, that 'is' a T.S.Elliot line". So why didn't he tell me?!!! 'Vacant' springs to mind!! LOL - :lol:

The thing that appealed to me about the statement/quote is the circular(?) completeness of it! We strive all our lives for perfection and knowledge and find we come full circle to a state of contentment ...or something like that!! Crazy - :crazy:

I'm going to update it definately now. I bet my quote isn't even an accurate quote either! :( (Sad) - :( I think I've fainted. - :faint:

Don't feel bad about "accuracy" on that one (!)... I believe that it is among the most transformed and mis attributed of the longer quote series... There are several good ones in that vein... and the sentiment is so universal, there are probably many common colloquialisms that have impacted it over time... I've obviously spent some thought on this kind of silliness. :) (Smile) - :) The point is: good quote, regardless.
