no. when the surface crashed I couldn't get on with the desktop. didn't like my password anymore or maybe believed I was still on. who knows? imps in the works, maybe. or ghosts? lol. maybe it was the ghost that fixed it, I don't know. I look forward to many more notes, hope they will not all be sad. hope they will be filled with joy eventually as the burden of your story is lifted, as I hope it will be. like Cheryl Strayed was by her journey and memoire. I feel honored to walk with you as best my stumbling steps can do.

It's a strange thing, but almost everyone I depend on as a writing support system experienced a tech blackout over the last few days. I was seriously beginning to think it was one of my recent chapters that had upset people somehow. Then... drumroll... about twenty-four hours ago I said to my husband, "If you're trying to tell me to soften the message, to change some of the negative things I've written recently, please let one of my core followers speak up and say so. If it's something else? Then please fix the problem. I'm having trouble keeping my head in the story."
Within twelve hours, each of you I count on to make comments contacted me to tell me you'd been experiencing technical glitches. Penfury even had to get a new modem installed.
Seriously.
Jim just never lets me down when it counts. I spent yesterday in a writing marathon.
Did he fix your problem? I have no doubt. LOL.
