About MeHi,
I'm sparxle , but you can call me Juliette. I joined dA in mid-December of 2008 and I've really grown love the dA community!
I draw (both traditional and digital) but mainly do pixel art and emotes. My main program for pixel art is GIMP. It is very much like PS but it takes some getting used to. Now I can't imagine doing art with anything other than GIMP!
Also, even though pixeling people is not one of my strengths, I have never used a base by someone else. Except for 1 or 2 deviations that I indicated that I used a template (such as the deviant I.D. above) everything is by me. I just feel like it's not really my work if I don't make the whole thing.

Lol, it's just practice. There's no secret. When I first started my pixel arts stunk. Then I read some tutorials to pick up a few tricks. (There are a LOT on dA) The one thing that helps a lot (which also makes pixel art/emotes very difficult) is just having either a lot of patience or (in my case) being very obsessive.

Well, the template was by =BlissfullySarcastic so I really didn't do that much designing. For coloring I was just lazy and decided to use gradients 
Well, Idunno if that answers your question, but the coloring and the emote is the only part I actually did. My work is usually 100% my own, but when I had seen the template I could not resist customizing it!
