Your so "varied" gallery... Maybe "varied" is the wrong word ( I'm french)
After carefully watching your( short) gallery, I can say that there is an imbalance between remarkable works such as the famous portrait I like so much, "Michelangelo'sDavid", Power of hands, or "Ratto
di Proserpina"... and some others., where you seem amusing yourself. I think especially to
"My neighbour Totoro",or "the Simpsons"..
Do you understand what I mean? I have the feeling that 2 different artists are exhibiting on this page...
I perfectly follow the man of "portrait study",maybe the most splendid portrait I have seen on DA, but I'm less ...impressed? by the last one.
I hope that I haven't hurted you? i admire you vision of ART... To me, the mystery of the Digital art will remain complete, alas!

oh yes, you are perfectly right :) (Smile) sometimes I like to do less also serious works, just for the fun to paint. Painting is a passion for me, sometimes I try to do the best I can, to verify what I can obtain with my current skills (I still have a lot to learn, and i think we will never stop do learn), but some other times I also like to do also more simple drawings, just for the fun to draw. Some times I also have a lot of fun doing very fast sketches, trying to render the overall feeling or athmosfere given by an image with the fewer brushstrokes I can. It is not easy, but I think it is a good exercise to really master how we perceive reality. Some other times i like to revisit some old sketches, or to do revisitations of famous scenes, trying to add my own style to them (like in the Totoro drawing). I think that I am a very curious person, and sometimes I try to explore new styles, trying to be inspired by the styles of some great artists that i discover. I actually would like to do more of that, explore more, trying more styles. I understand that from the point of view of a "watcher" of my page this can be annoying, sometimes i wish that da could allow users to follows just some "galleries folders" of another user, so a watcher of mines could follow just my serious drawings ;) (Wink)

The idea was to do a simple painting software, for quick sketches, very immediate and fast. I hope i was able to achieve that idea, or that i am not so far from there ;) (Wink)

haha :) (Smile) SpeedyPainter is the name of the simple digital art software that I've created. But the drawings you can see in this profile are done by a single person: me :D (Big Grin) . Do you think the gallery is very varied? Damn, I was trying to get a well distinguished style for my drawings, I still have to work a lot toward that direction XD

Hello! I'm the author of the "What I like about your art" thread!

I would like to humbly ask you for some patience while waiting for my feedback, it'll take a little more time, up to couple of days... to be fair for everyone, I'm going respectively from the oldest to newest replies and I'm trying to give all the deviants some quality comments. But it's not so fast task, and all because of my studies that are just taking too much time from my everyday life

I can't edit post to add this information because I edited it too many times before (to fix typos and stuff) so I can't change anything there.

Yeah, I've seen that you used SpeedyPainter too, I'm sorry that you encountered some bugs using it, unfortunately it doesn't work very well on some Intel graphics cards.
I hope to solve those issues in the future.
I've tested it on some nVidia, AMD and a new intel HD graphis 530 and it works very well on them.
