How long have you been away from DA?
Ugh. Things are tough. My mother has a rare breast cancer and I am rushing back and forth to help her, and going into hospital with her for appointments, and it’s exhausting and painful. I’m writing and working around that.

I've been away for about three years now since my own mum passed away from Astrocytoma Brain cancer in 2015. I went through a deep phase of erratic behaviour and depression tbh and i only now feel settled enough to give art a second shot. It's such tough work what you are doing my love but you have my prayers that she'll pull through! The best advice i can give is to take it day by day and make sure you're finding little things to make you and her laugh every day.

I am so very sorry to hear that. I know it’s awful, I went through it 25 years ago with my beloved Nan. There’s no one way of coping with the stress and grief of it. We just have to, somehow.

Yes, we do try to do as you said. It’s such a rare cancer that it’s very hard to treat, but she is on chemo now anyway, and the first shot did seem to help a bit. Thank you

We find our own ways to cope somehow thats true and thankyou. I can definitely credit my family and friends for persuade me to come back and doing all they can to inspire me into painting again they're amazing
