Thanks ^__^ I'm sort of an honourary zebra I guess, the doctors thought I had EDS but after 2 years they've said my joints are just a little hypermobile and not even that bad anymore, but 2 years ago we didn't know and I certainly felt like a zebra, it was a tough time, I guess I'm still part zebra if the other zebra's don't mind me ^___^.
After being there (scared and sore and worried that my hobbies will injure me) I really appreciate what I have now since I've been able to play music again and stuff, but it also makes me appreciate EDS sufferers even more, because I understand how hard it can be to do even simple tasks, and so many of the zebras are incredibly talented artists!!!

I am glad to hear that you are able to play music and that you are an honourary zebra!
I am still able to do most of my hobbies as well. Not as often as I would like but all in all my life is rather good, all things considered. I was recently diagnosed but both me and my family have always known that some things where different for 3 of us. It`s a big relief for me to finally have a name for it! I am really exited about all the different help solutions that are out there, Soon the doctors will help me get finger splints and some support for my ankles and knees! I think that will improve my everyday life a lot

Its all about balance in the end I guess!!! I had to learn (and I'm still learning) how to get the right balance with the activities I do, but compared to 2 years ago when I was getting the wrong treatment, I am doing much better now, so Im sure the splints and help from doctors will make a really big impact!!! Its really good to hear you are so positive, that really helps a tonne too My ankles and fingers and knees used to be bad, but Ive been in occupational and physical therapy and now I am so much stronger that I can play more sports than before and draw without getting tired and sore as quick!!! I'm positive you'll be doing much better in all aspects of life as time goes on now that you know what you're dealing with, finding out your joints are a little bit too bendy is half the battle since its so hard to diagnose!!!!
