# About me
STANLEY OOI a.k.a WULFLAND is a Malaysian-based graphical artist, who has graduated from Lim Kok Wing Creative Institute (Kuala Lumpur) & RMIT (Melbourne). While studying and working in Australia, he discovered his true passion that summoned him to become a digital painter.His artistic style has been colored and influenced by many extraordinary elements through out his struggle, twisted and exotic journey in Melbourne. These included a series of exploration and discoveries through street art, graphic design, sneakers, music, being a DJ, a chef etc.
In terms of his style, he likes to paint what attracts his attention by adding his own flavor, imagination and artistic mind to it. In that sense, he is able to create a personal, fresh, fusion of ideas that result in unique artwork.
In addition, his artwork often captures a fast-paced movement and energy flows that can be related to the power of chi, or even chakra points. These illustrate that his art is dancing on its own rather than just a beautiful image. In short, like a piece of music, perhaps his favourite, drum & bass and hip hop. These two genres of music have been a major influence in transferring what he sees in his mind, into a creation that allows the viewer to interpret the artwork to his own liking.
A further explanation would be that his colour selections are often related to hip hop, graffiti culture and their trends. A bright, fresh and vibrant colour is often selected to represent his art. Apart from the influences, he believes these colours represent a sense of hope and happiness in his art, Hopefully, these colors could enhance viewers' moods to a higher level beyond recognition.
At this stage, his medium is mainly focused on digital painting (Photoshop and Illustrator) by simply using his magic mouse that creates artwork that cannot be duplicated due to his originality and drive to perfection.

No doubt man, you have really dope work. Mike Giant is one of my favorite artists too. I've actually hit him up before and he replied to me and took the time to give me some advice, he's a really chill guy!

Well when I first started my brand I was actually ballsy enough to hit him up for advice cuz Rebel8 is one of my favorite brands and he's one of my favorite artists and he actually replied.. I sent him a few of my first designs and some concepts and he gave me feedback and explained to me how Rebel8 worked, and he recommended a brand having one person handle the artwork and another handle the business aspects of it. I'm doing it all on my own still. He also told me to shop around local and not to worry about selling out at first, just keep pushing product and eventually it'll get picked up if you don't give up!

Hahaha it was kinda stupid of me asking him for brand advice when he owns a brand of his own, but I really looked up to him and it was cool that he gave me advice regardless! And hopefully it will man, thanks!
