Hahaha, I feel like a total creeper. I found you by watching your dorm room tour. I'm really in love with SCAD, (or at least the idea of it) and I am really striving to go there. I'm almost done with my portfolio, and hopefully I'll get enough scholarship money to go there.

And thanks for the support! You're right, it can get pretty stressful. (mostly just the whole portfolio thing....)

oh wow, I forget that I have that up there, haha. Yeah, scad is a pretty nifty school~ and they're pretty generous with scholarships! I actually applied to scad last, sometime in February, and they were the first school to reply! but you don't find out any scholarship info until May I think.
Have you ever looked at the scad tag on tumblr? You can creep on all the students as they whine about classes starting monday.
what major are you going for?

I applied back in august, but I'm just now finishing portfolio and letters of recommendation and personal statement crap.

And lol I got that shit tracked, I definitely do tha creep! /shameless

And major wise, I'm thinking either illustration or Animation. But I'm more interested in character development and design in that field. Unfortunately, my dA doesn't do my art much justice, I haven't uploaded over half of my portfolio up.. Dx mostly just fun stuff and whatnot.

Thats cool! One of my friends wants to do character design. She started out as a animation major and then switched to seqa, but it sounds like she may switch back, xD
You can always try out both! I started in illustration and then moved to seqa, haha~

That's one of the reasons SCAD is so appealing to me. When I get there, I can try ANYTHING! I don't have to commit to one thing and never even consider any other major.
