I only used tutorials if I needed help on a specific thing such as hair or skin shading other than that I vexeled in my own way using my own techniques. I find that if you use what's most comfortable to you you'll get better results. But you are on your way. The only thing I suggest is more shading, shading is the key. Good luck!
