# About me
I'm a traditional illustrator with a background in puppet theatre, dollmaking and product design/development. I work mostly in ink, watercolor, gouache and colored pencil. I also still sculpt dolls, puppets and masks in paperclay from time to time.Influences include golden-age illustrators, anime, manga, costume design & history, children & children's picture books, literature (especially Shakespeare and folk/fairy tales), theatre, film, animation, toys and puppetry.
