well actually it is a camera, It's running ....I never really thought of it as running away from the name ...but it certainly does look like that !!!

and thanks for the lol at the avatar...my good friend Jessica ( she and her sisiter and mom are all members here too ) anyway I am not the world's most capable computer person, and she was all of 14 when we put this together for me....we were so proud, we sat and watched it run across for a good 7 minutes , giggling at it and patting ourselves of the back !!!

Hey Sheri !! I have tried to email you guys 3 times now...and no reply tell Malissa to check her gmail ...there's a note from me I wrote last week I think.....read the reply I wrote to Caravam.( the guy just ahead of you here..) it tells a lot but I since have found a job in a framing shop and have been there for 3 weeks now, starting my 4th today....so can't write much..gotta get ready for work.....
I love the job, framing stuff has always been a bit of a passion for me and I am doing very well there....already getting a reputation for my designs and people are asking for me !

Hey hey....

well, I made it through I think.....due the kindness of a couple of strangers...I now have a place to live...a very nice guy name of Mike..invited me to stay at his house and I am helping clean up 17 years of a real bachelor guy house !!! this is a slow process, requiring lots of elbow grease...but the place is already showing the work....the kitchen almost gleams......

and then...the really big thing that got me that far ...I was spending a lot of time on "I can has cheezburger" a very witty site with kitty photos and funny sayings over them...and even funnier comments under the photos..made by a recuring group of amazing folks.....during the deepest scariest time last fall and winter..I managed to keep going because of this site....they were funny and supportive....and in Jan....we founded a yahoo group so we could all chat off the ICHC site....well, within 2 days of that...this remarkable and generous lady in the midwest....emailed me and said to the effect...Sally I know you're having really hard times and are trying to get back on your feet, so send me your address and I am sending you a check...and she did...enough to stay at the motel till I found a place, enough to put gas in the car, enough to eat regularly, and she has since sent a couple of more checks.

I am looking for work, no luck yet, but yet another guy, took one look at my car and said ....no woman should drive a car like that....and paid for new tires for the front, a tune up, and the headlights fixed...before ....I could only drive in the daytime, and it was getting real scary every time I hit the road or a bump!! would the tire burst ???

so ....I am doing a thousand times better......just waiting on the job to be back up to full speed.......and .,......I found a doctor for the first time in my life I found a doctor I like and trust and she gives me samples for the high blood pressure....(and it was HHHIIIIIGGGGHHHH) and even writes the prescription for my ADD meds so I save a bundle on psychiatrist fees.....

so it looks like I will actually pull through.......it's odd though, where old freinds and family had turned their backs.......new friends and someone I have never even met before.....saved my life.....and I do mean saved my life ...it was touch and go there for a while.......


on that dramatic note ....how's by you ????? what are you up to these days ?????

Great to hear - really great to hear! God - that survivor spirit of yours just hangs in there, eh? Amazing story - and a much needed one when so much seems to be about who just ripped off who. There are still good people out there, and faith still seems to have a place in our world - not that I mean 'faith' to have religious connotations, more about humanity and stuff like that. OK - so now just keep making the most of the opportunities and sounds like you'll be just fine. Thanks so much for dropping a line - it's all a bit crazy trying to relate to someone so far away - and likely to remain that way - but folks is folks and good folks is good folks and you is good folks. OK - before I dribble off into some sloppy homily....

Had my own dramas, but nothing like yours. I left my marriage - twice, but been back for four months and things really seemed to have turned around. Not just honeymoon stuff, but some very deep and real changes that had to be made. The future looks interesting again, and something that I look forward to. Financially things are not so good, but realistically not THAT bad. Having to sell the house, but it's not like we'll end up homeless. Anyway, probably about time to move into something smaller, seeing as the kids are making moving out noises.

You haven't mentioned your son, so I assume there's still a road block there? That's hard - I can but hope that things will move in the right direction one day. Just no time soon by the sound of it. Anyway - so glad you've had some good fortunes recently. And thanks again for keeping in touch - I really appreciate it. You take care you.

Child, you have so much life left to live, and so much talent and so much caring in you......now is the time to take advantage of the energy and the idealism of your youth.......don't let old folks or nay sayers or the "not-humans" get you down, what you do and think now will reverberate throughout the rest of your life. be sure you use the goodness and talent within you to shape the rest of your life in a postive way. you are one of the young people I have met through this site who I have found hope and talent and and a kind soul within........just keep on keeping on.......I know you have it within you to be a good artist, whether or not you are commercially successful, matters not, what does matter is that you continue to find beauty in your world and show it to others, and don't forget to find it and show it to yourself, you matter most of all.

I count myself lucky to be your friend and admirer, even though we will probably never meet, you and the others like you, are the hope of the world to come......without your eyes and soul and caring, there is no hope for this world......it is your destiny, so guard it carefully.....it is not an easy task, there are many out there who will try to kill that in you......i know, I have met a few of them myself..........but believe in yourself and you will be fine.


and when you find that talent and caring in others be sure to help them develope themselves too,......as artists it is our duty to nurture fellow artists...
