And keep on working on your art. Hand drawing will help you in the long run, at the very least you can do quick sketches to help you visualize what you want to do in the end.

I am not so good at hand drawing myself... especially in a limited timeframe... most of my actual traditional pieces take days... if not weeks. I really have a hard time with disciplining my hand.... so I feel ya when you talk about how the students to the left and the right are making masterpieces and you feel like a noob. I know I'll feel the same way when I go back to school to get my BS (Interactive Media) from the Arts Institute of California... if I actually decide to go.
