To the Kerry supporters: People who vote for Bush are not all christian conservative holy rollers- learn to accept that.

To the Bush supporters: People who vote for Kerry are not all hippies with anti-war sentiments.

Even though it's all over and done with, I think what we learned from this is: You can't trust the news. Any news. Not Dan Rather, not Bill O'Reilly, nobody, except AP, who are thankfully neutral.

Very true. Its amazing that if you say something enough, the people will believe it. Case in point: Before the most recent war, the last time UN weapons inspectors were in Iraq they left, voluntarily, because they claimed Saddam was not cooperating (or at least that's what all the news agencies reported). However, the administration, in its push for war, said that Saddam kicked them out--repeatedly. Now when it came time to run a story on Iraq, which version of the truth do you think the media went to, the history books or the administration? Most news agencies in direct contradiction to their reports of several years earlier, reported that Saddam kicked out UN weapons inspectors. Funny how that works.

My morbid curiosity has gotten the best of me, and I am forced to pose the question:

Not that it REALLY matters, what with the election being long over and all, but do you seriously view Kerry as some villainous horse-man bent on destroying America through vile, underhanded, Liberal tactics? I’m actually, legitimately curious about this. I mean, judging by your page, that’s a correct assumption, is it not? Does [I should say β€œdid”] that man really scare you that much?

Reply or don’t, as I said, it doesn’t matter; I’m just astounded that one man could hold such incredible sway over a person’s thoughts.

It’s kind of.... spooky.

No, it was never about John Kerry. The sheep that voted for Bush were so hell-bent on supporting him that some sort of freakish monster was created to deal with anyone that dared run against Bush. This "scary" candidate was never all that scary. In fact, it was the mere thought of failure that pushed Republiclones to create this fake image of a satanic, evil incarnation running for President. For all the talk of Kerry destroying America, no one seems to mind him representing one of the United States in Congress. To be sure, the next man to run against a good Christian Republican candidate will be seen as a monster, probably more destructive and powerful than Kerry every could have been.

--See you in four years. We'll be having this conversation again.

er.. you do know that my comment on that guy's page WAS pure sarcasm, right? [i kinda couldn't tell ]

but, in any case, you make a very valid point. i can't really add more to it without reiterating you, though XD. i think we, as Americans, are far too gullible; but, in a society were most propaganda is treated like truth, its hard not to be.

sort of sad, really.

The problem of living in the USA is that you guys usually forget there's "some" people outside your country... Why do I say this:

- John Kerry wants to restrict the use of our Armed Forces unless the United Nations consents.

I don't think that any USA president will agree to do this, but what a great thought it is!!! USA wants to police the world and you don't want people all over the world to hold a grudge against you??? C'mon guys, you gotta be kidding me.

- Upon returning home from Vietnam, he joined an anti-war group, actively protesting in the war he had just so heroicly fought in.

Why couldn't he fight that war??? It was as unfair as the war against Iraq. Yes, Saddam was no good doer, but taking the law by your hands (weapons!!!) is not the way to get into heaven. This war is one you won't win, it will draw lots of american lifes and will become more unpopular as time passes. You guys, have to remove the blindfold from your eyes. I don't believe Kerry is the answer, but Bush is the worst president you have since Reagan. You have to find a better guy to lead you into the future. Times would grow bad with oil prices skyrocketting. Do you know what should be the price of the oil by Bush's energy advisor??? Two hundred dollars per barrel!!! And you are afraid dor a tax raise of 50 cents per gallon??? What are you going to do when oil prices approach 100 dollars??? Invade OPEC countries??? On what basis??? National security???

Guys, I don't want to fight you because there's enough fighting in the world, but you have to admit that Bush is hardly prepared to be the leader of the USA!!! I don't really care about Kerry, but I do about Bush... Sorry to leave my voice in this Pro-Bush forum... See you around!!!

I truly agree with this. Of course, I agree with a lot the anti-Bush things out there, too. They're both terrible candidates, but I definitely believe Kerry is the worse of the two. Even on his website he contradicts himself, and he's always got that ever-elusive "plan" that's never truly detailed.

Keep on keepin' on.

Also, I just thought I'd encourage everyone interested (like SatanicMuffin) to do your own research. Gather facts yourself, don't JUST listen to the news. It's going to be impossible to find unbiased news, so gather as much information from both sides as possible.

Btw SatanicMuffin, somedoy you're going to realize that part of growing up is realizing you don't have to jump on the bandwagon. Start thinking for youself isntead of regurgitating tidbits of rumors you hear.

My apologies, I cannot take anyone who writes "XD" as seriously. Please do not return to the site. As for the news it is 95% bullshit. It depends on which paper you read. Half of them support Bush, half of them support Kerry. Some of them support Third Party. But I understand the feebleness of a 13 year old developing mind. It's not your fault, really. No matter how many "XD"'s you throw at me, I'm going to keep coming, with real actual facts. Like [link] for instance. That is a fact. Kerry is not popular among American teens. There are a lot of facts out there that YOU don't know. And as long as you keep an ignorant close-minded brain like you do, and speak in nothing but dry tonic, you will never be succesful in swaying me of Bush's incompetance.

hate to wake you up but that link you posted says that the majority of teens are for GW... you might want to actually read your alledged facts before you post a link which says the exact opposite of what you say..

from the site you posted the link too.
"American teens have spoken, and they want George W. Bush for president. Nearly 1.4 million teens voted in the nation's largest mock election, and the Republican incumbent wound up with 393 electoral votes and 55 percent of the total votes cast.

Democratic challenger Sen. John Kerry received 145 electoral votes, far short of the 270 electoral votes needed to win a presidential election. Kerry received 40 percent of the total votes, while five percent of teens selected the third-party option, though no third-party presidential hopefuls managed to pick up any electoral votes."

and if you ever dare to look outside your window at the world you would notice that:

1.) bush STARTED the war
2.) bush cheated on the elections AND the debates
3.) bush QUIT the air national guard after a short time
4.) bush spends 42% of his time "in office" on vacation
5.) bush and his family made arrangements to safely fly Osama bin laden and several other AlQuaida members back to their country the next morning after 9/11 while planes were closed to everyone else
6.) Iraq is NOT part of Afghanistan if you are atleast smart enough to notice but bush continued to attack innocent people there nonetheless

There are many more reasons why I don't understand your reasoning.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

fourdaysfromnow In reply to satanicmuffin [2004-10-23 02:51:24 +0000 UTC]

Almost everything you said is unfactual. Bush spends 42% of his time out of office? Do you know there is nothing he can't do from Camp David that he can do in the white house? all he needs is a cell phone and the football.

Yes I know he started the war. For a very just reason, to fight terrorism. If you argue the fact that is was for oil why did I pay 25$ for half a tank of gas. yeah.

He quit the air national guard? Kerry went AWOL for 3 years. haha.

Who said Iraq was part of afghanistan? I sure didn't.

Bush flew OSAMA BIN LADEN out of where? The US? what? we have NEVER found/made contact with Osama. His family, yes. He has a very large family. I'm sure his 32nd brother once removed that was born in Los Angelas had something do to with the 9/11 attacks. haha (again)

At the very least anti-bush fanatics keep me laughing. Keep it coming kids.

Oh yes, I wish you would all go to [link] and see the results of the largest moch election ever held. 1.4 million teens voted for their choice for president. I think kerry won 6 states total. Bush won 55$ of the popular vote. ouuuuuuuuch.

Sooooo happy that I found some Bush supporters on here!!! The majority of kids I run across either on here, or in my school have long since been brainwashed by the public school system, their own brain washed parents, and the overly biased media. And it's not even like they have a point to half the things they say. It's all, "Bush is an ass!" and such. I don't know why I bother being prepared for any actual debate, because no one can give it to me. The ones who do try to say anything about the issues just spew the same old liberal diatribe, and over used catch phrases that have long since been debunked, but they wouldn't know that anyway because the news won't report it.

Anyhow, I'm done venting, you just rock my socks!
