hey I know that your Ganondorf cosplay is like 3 years old but on the off chance you get this: I am currently working on one for a friend and I was wondering how the craft foam held up after wearing it all day? I was going to use EVA foam for the more solid pieces but was wondering if the craft foam would do the job well enough. I made a steampunk cyborg last year and pieces of the craft foam were ripping or wearing through by the end of the day, so I was nervous about using it again. your cosplay is great by the way- very crisp and professional looking

I plan to make that costume for my hubby. How do you plan to go about the wig?

Oh! Just tried something that's a pain but worked nicely. I cut a thin strip of velcro (prickly side) and rolled the hair from tip to root on the velcro. Made a nice little rolled up Gannon tube of hair. I'm starting to realize his hair might be entirely rolled from tip to root instead of twisted like I originally thought it was.

Huh. That's a really great consideration. That's going to be helpful in my own experimentation. I really need to start on that costume, lol.

I'm still testing some ideas, but I bought two "Men's Hollywood Rocker Wigs" (in case I destroy one or need extra hair) and have actually been sewing the columns of hair down tight (I am determined to not have an overly puffy wig). I might glue/hairspray it and remove the thread, but we'll see. As for the crazy donut roll things on the back, I used little styrofoam balls that I cut in half and rolled the hair around. I started at the tip and rolled the half ball in towards the wig if that makes sense.
