# About me
I first found a passion for photography playing with a little Canon automatic in Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife. Since then it has become a full-time hobby and a passion which I hope, one day, will also become my profession.My love for photography centers mainly around close-up shots of flowers and other natural subjects. It is said that "Even on the road to hell, flowers can make you smile." But how many of us stop to look, properly, at such things? We're all too busy going somewhere, doing something else. Through the images I produce I hope to capture just a little of that beauty we so often pass by, and by doing so, give it a place in our lives.
Aside from the photography, I occasionally dabble in drawing of one form or another, and a variety of crafts, most of which are linked to historical re-enactment -I belong to a society called The Vikings, which seeks to explore and bring to life aspects of life from post-roman britain to the early middle-ages.
