no. I live in Wisconsin. The Wisconsin river is the hardest working riving in the country. there are more hydro-electric dams on teh wisconsin river than on any other river in the nation.

we've a Bunch of Coal, and a couple of Nuclear plants.
the reason we do not have that many turbine farms is the wind is not consistant here, it's irregular. Same with sunlight, so solar isn't a big thing up here either.

*nods* I need to visit that region sometime (well, I need to visit everywhere I can, sometime...)
I'm not sure if it was Wisconsin or Minnesota, but I recently read an article by a journalist saying as how much Wamer and Earlier spring was coming in, in that region..... Virtually every comment made (mine was first!) was laughing at her.

in Wisconsin in the last 100 years there has only been one consistent day that has never seen a recordable level of snowfall...

that day is July 4th.

EVERY OTHER DAY OF THE YEAR at least Once in the alst 100 years HAS had a recordable amount of snowfall
screw meteorologists, what do they knew...
