A little bit. Most of what I know of the language sadly comes from anime and video game music or some other japanese music. I have had a few friends over the years teach me some simple basics such as the numbering system, and I own a japanese-english dictionary that has taught me a little too. I do hope to learn more fully though and spend some time in japan.

owh..you're such a very hardworking person to learn all that..hehe..me too..bfore this, i start with create my own dictionary, put the new words there..i learn from anime n japanese movie..you know what, my rutin is put a piece of paper beside me, then i'll write it on that paper any new word that i juz heard from that anime or japanese drama..i already photostat a japanese language book from my friend that juz come back from Japan..hehe..i really happy with that..so, do you ever go to Japan?^_^

No, I havent been able to travel abroad yet, but it is one of my eventual goals, to spend some time in Japan. I've a few friends that have gone and what not, they tell me how great it is and it just makes me want to go even more.

YES! Now we only need to overcome these hurdles:

1) Language: we need to be communicable if not fluent.
2) Money: Japan is expensive, highly expensive to visit. I suggest well-paying jobs.
3) Time: in the pursuit of money for the trip, we need to figure a way to allow in for time of the trip. It is pointless to spend hundreds or even thousands of dollars in currency to go for only a few hours. Personally I would like my stay to be a minimum of one week with a maximum of 6 months.
4) Life: This ties much of the previous together, in the processes of obtaining the previous 3 things, we will inevitably be distracted along the path to Japan. These distractions could add years and decades to the attempt and such large amounts of distracted time could eventually lead to losing or even forgetting the desire for such a trip.
