From what I see of your gallery, I really like it. I've never been great at traditional art, and I envy you. Love your desktop--if I didn't live with parents over my shoulder 25/7, then I would follow suit.

My rule of thumb when it comes to buying cd's:
1. If there are at least 3 good songs on it, then it's worth it.
Let me assess my cd collection into "worth it" and "waste of money":
WORTH IT:
"The Darkness - Permission to Land" : You just have to give these guys props. Open-chested catsuits and long flowing locks, with a lead who screams like a girl, endless solos and feel-good lyrics. hahahaha. good times.
WASTE OF MONEY:
"All American Rejects" : I can't even remember the name of the album. Too pretty-boy-teenybopper-pop-rockish for me.
