Hmm. *andrewk mentioned that. The only possible flaw to the idea is that I might forget to update it, but I suppose if I gave the password to others, that together we would be responsible enough to maintain it. I know for a fact that there are a couple of transfers/freshmen on DA who aren't up on that list because I forgot to devwatch them. Maybe if there was a club they would crawl out of the woodwork and RISD could be properly represented for the diverse mix of work we churn out as a subcommunity here on DA.

Well, I already have a second account here on DA and I run the club there. I'll tell ya, it can get to be a pain, especially since the club members submit a LOT of artwork, but your joint password idea sounds like a good deal to help distribute responsibilities. If this does take shape, I think each RISD member should submit 1 piece of artwork to the account to represent themselves and sorta call it quits there in terms of submissions. Any ideas for a name, like the "RISD Round-up" or something?

Yeah, the one-piece-an-artist thing sounds like a good idea, only a lot of people will naturally yearn to have their latest and best work displayed over their old work (I know that I'd want nothing from my freshman year put up on DA unless it was for anecdotal value!) But maybe a sane arrangement could be worked out so that you can only submit new work in an alotted time period. For instance, the club could hold periodic "shows" like in the school galleries and each person chooses and submits *one* piece to be displayed. I think that might cut down on some of the mayhem.
"RISD Round-up" eh? 
How about Y.A.I.D.U.T.T.E. or "Young Artists in Debt up to their Eyeballs"? We could follow suit with our sports division and have some suitably perverse mascot. j/k about both
I like roundup. I'll ask around for other suggestions for the sake of democracy. (Speaking of democracy, how about the "RISD Revolution"?) By "around" I mean whoever I happen to bump into this past week of school. With luck, over vacation I can do something about this club thing. The people have asked for it, after all. I'll try and get those folks that slipped through the cracks too, even if it means embarrassing myself by asking random people on the street if they go to my school.
