Thank you for faving An Afternoon to Remember. May I ask what you thought of it? I'm trying to improve in my art, and every comment or criticism helps.

Not a problem! I thought It was a lovely illustration to go with a beautifully written story. I loved how you both did your equal parts and the paints and paw prints on the canvas.
I must say the cats anatomy is off in some places, particularly the muzzle. See how here - [link] the cats muzzle slopes gently down from its eyes, It doesn't jut out like a canines muzzle. Also, the hind leg is a little small and off. Look here - [link] You can see how the fat and fluff and such at the back of the leg softens the features, and the bunched up higher part of the leg is more like a triangle with quite rounded edges.
To be honest, thats the only faults I see, but other than that its a fantastic piece Douglas.

That's actually really helpful! I see how the cat has a dog-like muzzle, that's probably from me being accommodated to drawing that. I also see how the hind limb could be improved to become more realistic.

And well she hasn't got a tail, instead, she has a tiny robotic stump, that can attach itself to anything, making that her tail.
You can give her any tail if you wish ^^
And the markings are 3 circles on the top of the tail, outside is the darker brown, and inside the lighter brown
