I am a nurse that looks after sick kids. I love my job... but my real love is in illustrating, painting and sometimes designing... I'm a big kid at heart which means I love playgrounds, icecream, dreaming, imagination, having fun and giggles. By the way, I hope this is not too personal - if it is, then I apologise for my bluntness. I'm just wondering how did you become a professional illustrator? Did you take any art classes? It's quite amazing to me how you manage to have career in two areas that are completely different.

Im not REALLY a pro illustrator lol. true, ive done odd jobs here and there
but i was lucky enough to have friends that hooked me up with people who
needed drawings and stuff done. illustrating is a hobby really.
nursing is the more stable career atm..
i wish, if it could ever happen, that i could rely on illustrating rather than nursing for my finances.
i dunno how you thought i was pro illustrator though! lol
